Visit to Egypt
GUEST OF HONOUR
Dr P S Ramani was the Guest of Honour of Egyptian Orthopaedic Society and attended their annual conference from 6-9th Dec, 2010 held at Cairo, the cultural city of Egypt.
Dr Ramani gave four lectures on Spinal Surgery and also chaired scientific sessions.
Dr Ramani being felicitated by senior Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Mohammad Maziad, during the conference.
Dr Ramani is seen chairing one of the scientific sessions. The spinal surgery sessions were attended by a large number of doctors coming from Egypt and neighbouring countries.
A VISIT TO DR GINDI
Dr P S Ramani with Dr Sayad El Gindi at the latter's residence in Cairo.
While in Cairo, Dr Ramani took time to visit Dr Sayad El Gindi at his residence and paid his respects.
Dr Sayed El Gindi is considered the father of neurosurgery not only in Egypt but the whole of Africa.
Dr Gindi has been a friend of India. He was extremely pleased to receive Dr Ramani at his residence and talk to him for 30 minutes over a cup of coffee.
