Competition winners visit Mumbai
The Annual Essay Competition for School Children in Goa was held as usual with the essay topic of “My Best Hobby”.
Five children winning the 1st Prize were elected to come to Mumbai for two days for a scientific tour. They were accompanied by one teacher Shri Murari Wadiker. They were shown Nehru Centre, Planetarium, BARC etc during the two days besides showing them the residences of Shah rukh Khan and Amitabh Bacchan.
They left for home with sweet and pleasant memories. Mrs Ramani entertained them with a sumptuous dinner at home as seen in the picture. All prize winners were girls.
