Synthes Spine Conference, Beijing
Dr P S Ramani attended the Synthes Spine conference XEED-II in Beijing on 23rd and 24th September 2010.
The conference was held in the Kempinski Hotel Resort near the Great Wall away from hustle and bustle of city crowd.
Dr Ramani gave lectures on Use of Titanium Cage developed by him for Anterior Cervical Fusion and its long term results and also talked on Use of Laminectomy in Cervical Spondylosis.
He also chaired sessions and participated in active and live debates.
Organised by Synthes, he was obliged to go the Great Wall and walk there for some time. Everything in the conference was very pleasant except the weather. It was very depressing with temperatures swinging between 4 and 6°C, lot of fog, rough and strong winds and rain. But it was a memorable experience.
A visit to the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Mao Tse Tung's Memorial brightened the visit.
