Taath Kanaa in Braille

TAATH KANAA IN BRAILLE LANGUAGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF VISUALLY COMPROMISED READERS IN MAHARASHTRA

Dr P S Ramani’s autobiography 'Taath Kanaa' which has already been translated in eight different languages is now available in Braille language for the benefit of visually compromised readers.

Nivant Andh Mukta Vikasalaya, an NGO Organisation in Pune headed by Mrs Meera Badwe working for the Welfare of such people in Maharashtra, undertook the task of translating it in Braille language.

The book was released by Shri Sudhin Dhavliker, Honorable Minister for Social Welfare in the state of Goa, in an emotionally packed programme at the premises of Vikasalaya at Pune amidst 150 visually compromised enthusiasts on 3rd October 2010.

The copies of book will be made available in all Braille languages in Maharashtra and very soon a project will be undertaken to translate the book in English Braille and distribute to Braille libraries Internationally.
