Prof Ramani invited to Dhaka to inaugurate the 1st Neuro Spinal Conference of the Neurological Society of Bangladesh

The Neurological Society of Bangladesh has decided to form a separate chapter for the development of Neuro Spinal Surgery in Bangladesh. Prof Ramani was invited to inaugurate this function and participate in the conference.

The two day conference saw all junior and senior members of the society attending the conference in full swing and remaining present till the valedictory function. Prof Ramani gave several lectures and also advised the doctors regarding conduct of such meetings in the future. The advice was well appreciated by one and all and they requested Prof. Ramani to be a part of this movement and guide them all the time to develop a strong unit of Neuro Spinal Surgery in Bangladesh. The meeting was held in Dhaka.

During the valedictory function Dr. Ramani was given standing ovation by the audience.

Houseful audience

Dr. P. S. Ramani and Dr. A. H. M. Ahsanullah, senior most neurosurgeon seen inaugurating the conference. Dr. Kanank Kanti Barua, the President of Neurological Society of Bangladesh was the President of the conference and Dr. Mohammad Hossain was the Secretary. Dr. Asif Barkatullah, Senior Neurosurgeon from the Dhaka Medical College conducted the conference.

Dr. Sushil Patkar, Senior Neurosurgeon from Poona Hospital and Associate Professor at Bharati Vidhyapith, Pune, co-oradinated with Dr. Ramani to make the program a success. He is being felicitated by Dr. Kanak Kanti Barua.
