Goa Golden Jubilee Project

Goa state is celebrating Golden Jubilee of its liberation from the Portuguese regime. The present Chief Minister Hon. Shri Digambar Kamat has established Golden Jubilee project of Vision for Goa in 2035. Shri Raghunath Mashelkar, Director of the National Chemical Laboratories is the Chairman of the Council.

Dr P S Ramani was entrusted to prepare a Project of Health in 2035 in Goa. A committee was established under him consisting of Shri Bhaskar Nayak, Director of Higher Education in Goa, Dr (Mrs) Rajnanda Desai, Director of Health Services in Goa and her team and sixteen other representatives from various sections of health in Goa.

With their support and most importantly cooperation and advise from the Minister of Health Shri Vishwajit Rane, Minister of Health in Goa, Dr Ramani prepared the document of Vision for health in Goa in 2035. On 23rd January submitted the report to the Chairman Shri Mashelkar who in turn presented it to Chief Minister Shri Digambar Kamat in the presence of Ex Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Shri Anil Kakodkar.
