V S General Hospital in Ahmedabad has developed an ultra modern cadaver lab in Anatomy Department, fully air conditioned with facilities like operating tables, cold illumination, ceiling lights, built-in cameras, C-arm, high speed drill etc.

Significantly, the department provides Frozen Cadavers to mimic true surgical techniques rather than formalin preserved bodies.

Dr Pankaj Patel, a spinal surgeon himself, Dean of V S Medical College and founder of this only of its kind dissection lab in India was present to inaugurate the workshop.
