Goa Marathon 2012
Dr PS Ramani held his marathon - Goa Marathon 2012 - under the banner Ahilyabai Ramani Prathishtan on 12th February 2012 in Goa.
There was tremendous enthusiasm with more than 1000 participants coming from Goa and Mumbai. This year the professional runners were too many, leaving many disappointed for not being in the first 3.
The main attraction was the Half Marathon. Besides, several other races were held with 6 kms distance and the special marathon for senior citizens of 3 kms. Mr Gaurish Dhond, director of Goa Tourism Development Corporation, the owner of Hotel Manoshanti in Panaji and noted social worker was the chief guest.
