WFNS meeting in Brazil
WFNS Interim Meeting was held in Recife, Brazil from 13th till 17th September 2011.
WFNS Spine Committee with Dr P S Ramani, Chairman, was actively involved in the conference. On the 13th September a workshop was held with Dr Enrique Osorio and Dr Marcos Masini.
Two symposiums, each of two hours duration were held in the meeting by the Spine committee.
- Emerging technologies in Lumbar Spine Surgery
- Surgical management of prolapsed Cervical Intervertebral Disc
Dr P S Ramani also gave two platform presentations.
A text book on "Surgical Management of Cervical Disc Herniations" published with Chief Editor Dr P S Ramani and Co-editors Dr George Dohrmann, Dr Mehmet Zileli and Dr Motoi Shoda was released by the President of WFNS Dr Peter Black. The book was well appreciated by all those who could see the book.
