Goa Marathon 2013 Announced
Dr PS Ramani in association with Smt. Ahilyabai Ramani Prathistan and Laxmi Narayan Sports Club-Wadi will hold the Annual Marathon 2013 on Sunday the 17th February 2013.
Highlights of the Marathon:
- Dr PS Ramani will be running the Marathon in his 75th year.
- The money for the prizes has been increased to celebrate Dr Ramani’s 75th year.
CATEGORIES:
- Half Marathon (21.095 Kms.)
- Dream run (5.5 Kms.)
- Senior citizens run (3 Kms.)
PRIZES: Half Marathon.
Gents
1st Prize: Rs. 10.000/-
2nd Prize: Rs. 8.000/-
3rd Prize: Rs. 6.000/-
Ladies
1st Prize: Rs. 8.000/-
2nd Prize: Rs. 6.000/-
3rd Prize Rs. 5,000/-
All participants running half Marathon and completing it in one hour and fifty minutes or less and not winning a prize will get Rs. 1,000/- each.
All others completing the half marathon will get Rs. 500/- each.
Dream Run:
Prizes will be given separately for above 13 years and below 13 years separately for males and females as usual.
Senior Citizens:
Three prizes of Rs. 500/-; Rs.400/- and Rs. 300/- for the first three winners. All others will get consolation prizes of Rs. 250 each.
There is no registration fee.
REPORTING TIME:
Morning 6 a.m. at Wadi as usual.
